“In June of 2011 we began agility training with Lesley Suggitt.  Charlie was our first dog – a very naughty liver and white Springer Spaniel.  He had just turned 1 year old when we began training and, to be honest, I never really thought we’d manage to get to a level where we could actually compete due to his, shall we say, “willful” personality!  Lesley was persistent in her training and very patient with an extremely naughty Spaniel, that I am sure other people would have given up on.
Lesleys training and advice paid off and in August 2012 we entered our first KC competition.   By the end of March 2013,  Charlie had won out into Grade 2 and by the end of May, He’d managed to go up again into Grade 3.”

“I own and adore three large, entire, male Rhodesian Ridgebacks – one of whom is a bit of a live wire and not for the faint-hearted. Im very lucky that for the most part I don’t have to leave them home alone very often and if I do, its not for long. Every now and then something comes up that just can’t be avoided and if they need to be left for over 5 hours, I know I can call on Lesley at K9 Aspects. My dogs are the absolute light of my life and I wouldn’t even consider leaving them with anybody else. Lesley is fully trained in canine first aid so I know that should they manage to do something silly while Im out, she would have the situation under control without any cause for alarm. She has a connection with the dogs and they just seem to know that she’s a “dog person”. She comes to my home and dog-sits for them, which is by far and away a less stressful option for them as they get to stay in their own surroundings with someone they trust and who I know has full control of them. With powerful dogs, trust and respect is paramount but Lesley is never harsh in her handling of them which is very important to me as I only every employ force-free techniques myself. I know when Lesley’s looking after them they are in safe hands – as is my home (you wouldn’t want just ANYBODY roaming about your house unattended now would you?). So, would I use K9 Aspects again? Absolutely Would I recommend them to family/friends? Without a doubt.”
